Pantone Color of the year 2012

Its that time of year again. Pantone has released the color of the year for 2012.... Tangerine Tango! Pantone calls it “a spirited reddish orange, that continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward."

Executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman said it is “Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to. Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”

Color forecasting influences fashion and make up to home decor and Pantone has become the leader in the industry for finding the hot new colors. The Dessy group offers Pantone Wedding, where you can experiment with color combos, create inspiration boards, and order chiplette color swatches. They even have a place where you can make your own 'will you be my bridesmaid?' cards in any pantone color.

For the first time Sephora is partnering with Pantone to introduce the first Color of the Year beauty collection. The limited edition collection features a variety of products including eye shadow, lipstick, lip gloss, nail polish and accessories, and will be available in Sephora Americas beginning March 2012.

adds a whimsical touch to the palette and will surely make a statement this spring.
Margarita, a piquant yellow-green, lifts spirits with its refreshing and stimulating glow.
Reminiscent of a blossoming garden on an early spring morning, fragrant Sweet Lilacevokes the fresh scents of summer. This delicate pinkish lilac adds a touch of romance to any wardrobe.
Natural versatile neutrals add practicality to this season's brights. Driftwood, an
